Language resources in the modern information space

Abstract
The important place of language resources in the modern information industry is emphasized. Provides an overview of the international language resource infrastructure, including collections, repositories, and archives of language resources. International organizations active in this area, especially in the field of standardization, are listed. The history of the development of metadata for language resources is outlined. The main categories of language resources are briefly characterized. The activities of the open linguistic open data community are described as a perspective and main direction for the development of language resources.
