Sustainable Tourism as a Security Strategy for the Tourism and Hospitality Industry

Abstract

The article is devoted to the current topic of sustainable tourism as a security strategy for the tourism and hospitality industry in the context of modern environmental and socio-economic challenges. The main objective of the study is to analyze existing environmental problems, best sustainable practices and safe technologies in the tourism and hospitality industry related to water resources management in the implementation of projects in coastal areas and water bodies. The study uses modern methods for studying the role of sustainable tourism in the development and environmental safety of ecological and economic systems. Recommendations for improving sustainable tourism industry management practices in the context of challenges related to climate change and water resources are proposed and substantiated. Key aspects of sustainable management of water-based tourism projects are studied, existing problems and opportunities are considered, as well as ways to more efficient and rational use of water resources and coastal ecosystems.
