Hierarchical levels of information objects representation in the digital libraries environment

Abstract
Four-level hierarchy of digital information objects represented in the electronic libraries reection is proposed in the paper. There are the followings: objects, subject-type collections, subject collections, and interdisciplinary collections. The elements of the hierarchy each level are described. Examples of each level are presented using the portal of the electronic library “Scientic Heritage of Russia” (http://e-heritage.ru).
